  From the fields, college and onto the bank, Productive Ag Services, LLC’s owner Craig Schroeder has knowledge in many different areas. This knowledge gives him the ability to help his clients manage their agricultural needs in more than one way. 

In 1996 he graduated from Mayville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree that included accounting and business administration. Craig gained a position at Bremer Banks as a credit analyst. After about a year, he moved into an Ag Lender position through Bremer and eventually moved into the Vice President position. For the nine years that he was there, he mainly worked in the Ag Lender department, growing the portfolio from “0” to $16MM. After serving Bremer for nine years, he accepted a position at Star Bank in central Minnesota and oversaw two banks. Craig was with Star Bank for about twelve years with an extensive Ag portfolio. When he left Star Bank to pursue his own company, his Ag portfolio sat at $90MM when he left. 

Craig has had his crop insurance license for close to 18 years. Craig also has worked with financial consulting and loan packaging for 25 years. The sizeable portfolio that he built with the banks, shows his knowledge, capability, and drive for success.
